Wakefield Firefighters Erik Cole and Dan Hancock ran in the race to support The Melrose Firefighter's Relief Association and the Lt. Walsh and Firefighter Kennedy Memorial Funds.

The 2014 5K was run on Sunday June 15th. Both of the Wakefield Firefighters completed the race.

Firefighter Dan Hancock came in as the fastest male Firefighter running in the event with a time of 21.22. (Ms. Massachusettes presents Dan with the metal)
